The applicant held the view that the ARY channel telecast the programme with ulterior motives and through, the channel damaged the name of the founder of Pakistan not only in the country but also at global level.
He said that it was the responsibility of the chief engineer and administrator of the mausoleum of founder of the country to protect the sanctity of the place. However, the chief engineer and administrator in connivance with the chief engineer and administrator presented the programme which brought bad name to the country. He said that it was the responsibility of the Pemra and other institutions to initiate proceedings against the channel but they did not fulfil their duty as per requirement.
