Karachi-The Wedding Atelier, an ultimate luxury wedding guide for all brides-to-be, got underway to much applause at the Pearl Continental Hotel.

Organised by the event planning maestro Sara Chapra of Carbon Events, the two-day wedding expo catered to all brides and grooms-to-be and served as an exclusive opportunity to meet leading players in the Pakistani wedding industry whilst receiving recommendations and insider knowledge from luxury sector professionals.

Couples looking to curate their fairytale wedding attended the expo and were greeted by the crème de la crème of the wedding industry in over 25 categories such as beauty, jewelry design, invite options, wedding décor, bridal & apparel, interior designing, wedding photography, wedding PR and much more.

Over one hundred artisans and experts showcased at the event; Natasha’s Salon, Private Collection, The Karachi Candle Company, Kiran Fine Jewellery, RAKA Events, Aarij Hashimi, Esfir Jewels, Ammara Flowers, Yum by Amna and La di Da Makeup, to name a few.

The Pearl Continental halls were transformed in Sara Chapra’s signature style.  Designers who displayed their garments at the event included Sana Safinaz, Sania Maskatiya, Tena Durrani, Nida Azwer, Zara Shahjahan, Deepak Perwani, Zainab Chottani, Republic Womenswear and Talha Batla of Hilal Silk Palace.

Several informative panel discussions were conducted, led by masterminds from various fields that provided critical advice for brides and grooms to-be.

Among those participating in the discussion were Sana Hashwani from Sana Safinaz, Jeannette Faruque owner of Fitness Studio X, Natasha Lakhani of Natasha Salon, Jewelry Designer Rehana Saigol and Dermatologist Dr Tasneem Nakhoda.

Numerous visitors sat through the discussion as their main concerns were also addressed through interactive sessions, whilst others continued to purchase and explore and make contacts with their favoured vendors.

Key media personnel from prominent publications and channels were also present during the panel discussions and demonstrations.

On the occasion, Sara Chapra said, “Through this grand wedding show, the idea was to break boundaries by providing wedding essentials and interactive sessions all under one roof. I am overwhelmed with the response we received on the first day. Seeing so many couples come in with their families, chit chatting with numerous experts and walking out of the venue all relaxed, felt nothing short of amazing.”
