Viewers express happiness over TV transmissions resumption
KARACHI (November 18 2007): TV viewers in the country were expressing their happiness over the resumption of the transmissions by the TV channels, which had suffered a cut off including Aaj TV. Meanwhile, TV viewers were also hoping that the government would withdraw the ban on the transmissions of Geo and ARY channels.
It may be mentioned here that all the leading national and international representative media organizations including CPNE, APNS, PFUJ and the IPI as also the IOJ at the international level have urged upon the government to withdraw the restriction on transmissions of Geo and ARY channels. Meanwhile the TV channels that have resumed their transmissions have begun introducing new programme and items to attract more viewers.
