PBA discusses voluntary code of conduct

KARACHI (June 24 2007): The PBA has an emergency meeting and its board of directors has discussed the voluntary Code of Conduct to prepare themselves for the meeting with Pemra and the information and broadcasting ministry in Islamabad scheduled for June 25, 2007.

The draft of Pemra code of conduct received late on June 22, 2007 was also distributed amongst the PBA directors to solicit their views on it. Meanwhile, the PBA Voluntary Code of Conduct has been forwarded to the Legal Counsel for constitutional and legal vetting.
