Man gets a beating for harassing woman
A man was beaten by pedestrians as he was teasing a woman in Baloch Colony police limits on Monday. Ms Sarwary Begum, a resident of Manzoor Colony said that she was residing with her family in the above-mentioned area for the past several years.
As she fell ill, she went to a clinic for medical checkup along with her son. While returning home from the clinic, accused Mohammed Saleem, a resident of her area, came on a motorcycle bearing registration number KDC-8561 and caught her by the hand.
He also tried to make her sit on the motorcycle forcibly. When she refused, accused Saleem insisted. At this, she shouted for help on which passers-by gathered on the spot and caught the accused. The people beat Saleem and called the police. The police arrested the accused and registered an FIR.
