Journalists hold meeting with Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors president
LAHORE- Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ), Punjab Union of Journalists and Press Institute of Pakistan (PIP) held a special sitting with the president of Council of Pakistan Newspapers Editors Society at PIP.
The sitting, held in connection with PFUJ’s programme to promote understanding between the owners of the newspapers and journalists, was attended by a large number of journalists.
During the sitting Mujib-ur-Rahman Shami dwelt at length on the problems facing the newspapers industry and underlined the need for an atmosphere of understanding between newspapers workers and owners.
