APNS office-bearers felicitated
SHEIKHUPURA- Pakistan Journalist Council (PJC) in its emergent meeting congratulated Mr Hamid Haroon (Dawn Group) on being elected the president of All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS). The council has also felicitated the other office-bearers including Qazi Asad Abid secretary general, Mr Zia Shahid senior vice president Pir Sajid Shah vice-president, and Qazi Aslam as joint secretary.
The meeting was presided over by the patron-in-chief Sarwar Rana. The PJC district president G. R. Shehzad, senior vice president Mian Anwar Farooq A. Malik, joint secretary and various other members were also present. They prayed Allah Almighty for the success of the newly-elected body and expressed hope that the body members would continue this endeavour to uphold the dignity and status of positive journalism.
