Women workshop from 27th
NAWABSHAH- A three-day “Journalism Training Workshop for Women” is being organized at Government Degree Girls College, Nawabshah under the auspices of Pakistan Press Foundation (PPF), Karachi on March 27th to March 29th.
According to a spokesman of PPF the workshop are part of an ongoing nation-wide PPF programme that aims at imparting news and article writing skills to women, to viewpoint on issued of their interest through the national media even from their homes.
He said that PPF has already organized such workshops in girls’ colleges in large numbers of cities in Sindh, Punjab and Balochistan.
Chief Editor Pakistan Press International (PPI), Fazal Qureshi, who is also the Vice-Chairman, PPF would conduct the programme and would impart training to the participants in “Article writing course”, which include How to write “Letters to the Editors” “How to select a Topic” Literary writing Vs News writing” many other topics.
On conclusion of the Workshop which would be free of cost certificates will be awarded to the participants.
