Woman killed over Karo-Kari
SUKKUR, Aug 04 2006: A woman was shot dead by her husband on the pretext of Karo-Kari, in village Mulla Bakhshan Kandrani, in Sarhad police station jurisdiction, district Ghotki, on Aug 03. Accused Mir Kandrani suspected that his wife was having illicit relations with some one else. Police are looking for him. Meanwhile, police have registered a case against 20 Kambrani tribesmen on Aug 03, following the killing of a Marfani tribesman over old enmity near village Aslam Brohi, in Humayoon police station jurisdiction, district Shikarpur. Sobo Marfani was shot dead by the Kambrani tribesmen, while he was working in the agricultural field. No arrests were reported.
