Website of Karachi Police launched
KARACHI- The website of the Karachi police was launched on Tuesday at the Central Police Office (CPO).Sindh Inspector General of Police Mushtaq Ahmed Shah performed the inauguration.Additional IGP Sindh, Falak Khurshid, Additional IGP Karachi, Akhtar Hussain Gorchani, and other senior officers were present on the occasion.
The Karachi police’s website- www.karachipolice.gov.pk, has been in accordance with the international standard, a police spokesman said on Tuesday.He was of the view that a person can lodge a complaint of any nature on this website.A separate complaint cell set up at the CPO would ensure action, it was further stated. The citizens can also easily download the character certificate from the website.The IGP Sindh said on the occasion that the website would be updated on daily basis
