Veteran photojournalist passes away
KARACHI: Senior photojournalist Samuel Benjamin was buried Wednesday. He was 61.He leaves behind two brothers and two sisters.
Born in 1946 in Saddar Karachi, he became a photographer in 1965. He worked for news agencies and newspapers. He had been affiliated daily ‘Koshish’ of the Kawish group of publications since 1998.
Bejamin was known as Chacha among journalists. He had suffered critical injuries when in a bomb blast blast at the Pak-American Cultural Centre (PACC). His professional career spanned 42 years and he remained a bachelor.
