Sindhi poet’s remembered

DADU – The 79th birth anniversary of renowned Sindhi poet, Ustad Bukhari, was celebrated at his residence in Gharibabad Mohalla here on Friday.
Brother of Ustad Bukhari, Syed Au Shah and son Dr Altaf Bukhari inaugurated the program by cut-ting a cake. Apart from relatives, close friends and lovers of Ustad Bukhari also attended the ceremony with enthusiasm and simplicity.
While throwing light on the thoughts of great poet, Dr Altaf said that Ustad Bukhari was
The poet of people and would live in their hearts forever. He elaborated that Ustad
showered nothing but love and affection on both young and elders, adding that his creative works were dear-cut evidence of his elevated teachings transcendental theories.

The poetic work of Ustad Bukhari was in the process of printing in book form, he said. Lahno KhanJamali asked the Sindh government to publish all his poetry work. Anwar
Azad Kandhro said that Ustad Bukhari was a great Sindhi language poet and as such the
provincial government should hold programs on his birth and death anniversaries, on the occasion these persons ,Irshad Panhwer,Aziz Ranjhani,Wali Chandio,Tarique Leghari,Wazeer Mangi,senior Journalist Saeed participated there.
