Seventh Wage Board meeting held
HYDERABAD- Chairman, Raja Afrasiab Khan (Rtd), has said that the he will look after the interest of newspapers as well as newspaper employees.
This he said during the 11th, meeting of the seventh wage board for the newspaper employees at Circuit House.
The chairman said that he knew the problems and difficulties facing newspaper employees.
He suggested the employees of the newspapers to submit their problems and suggestions in writing so that he should also consider and accommodate in the award.
Mr. Justice Raja Afrasiab Khan (Rtd), said the press was the fourth pillar of the state and is playing an important role in the country’s development and growth and also contributing towards literacy.
Those who also attended the meeting included Pervez Shaukat member Wage Board’s secretary APNEC, Majid Fouz member Wage Board, journalists and editors of different newspapers.
The meeting will continue on Friday at Circuit House, Hyderabad, from 10:300 a.m.
