Secretary National Press Club lodges FIR against Waheed Dogar, others
ISLAMABAD—Khalil Ahmed Raja, newly-elected secretary of National Press Club, lodged an FIR against Waheed Dogar and other unidentified non-members for attacking President National Press Club Anwar Raza February 3.
According to the FIR, there was a reception ceremony in honor of newly-elected office-bearers of the press club when Dogar, accompanied by unknown individuals, entered the premises and physically attacked the elected President Anwar Raza.
“The accused deliberately slapped the president, threatened to kill him, and then fled from the scene,” it further stated, requesting legal action against Dogar and others involved in hooliganism.
Kohsar Police Station has registered the FIR under Sections 147, 149, 427, and 506
