Robbers kill newspaper hawker
LAHORE: Two unidentified dacoits killed a newspaper hawker early morning on Wednesday at the Burki Police jurisdiction.
According to witnesses, two robbers on motorbikes tried to loot the newspaper hawker, Shakeel while he was on his way to the market to buy newspapers. The deceased showed resistance when they tried to rob him then shot him dead after snatching Rs 5000 from him and fled.
A first information report (FIR) has been lodged with the Burki Police on the complaint of the deceasedÂ’s brother, Basharat Ali.
