PTV newscaster protests
KARACHI Jan .26:-Pakistan Television Newscaster Shahabuddin Shahab has protested on being neglected for the Twelfth PTV Award 2002 and has demanded of the Federal Information Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad to take notice of is”disregard of merit.”
In a statement issued here on Sunday he said he was associated with PTV, Karachi Centre for last 21 years as a newscaster and a number of popular documentary films were also on his credit. He regretted that his popularity, standard of work and seniority was being neglected continuously.
