Protest against torture
NAWABSHAH: Local mediamen strongly protested on Saturday against torturing of a cameraman and reporter of a private TV channel by an influential landlord of Daulatpur.
Reporter Ali Muhammad Shah Lakiari and cameraman Talib had gone to village Allah Jurio Rind for coverage where they were made hostage and tortured by the landlord. The journalists in an emergency meeting condemned the incident and demanded suspension of the SHC concerned and registration of a case and arrest of the accused landlord and his armed persons.
