Pakistan Press Foundation condemns suicide attack on Tolo TV staffers
Pakistan Press Foundation (PPF) has in a letter to Muhammad Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai,President of Afghanistan condemned suicide attack of Taliban on TOLOnews TV bus in which seven of their staff members were killed and dozens others injured in Kabul, capital of Afghanistan.
PPF Secretary General Owais Aslam Ali in a letter to President Ashraf Ghani urged the Afghan government to bring those responsible for such barbaric act to justice and provide security to media outlets and media men in Afghanistan.
A suicide bomber in Kabul detonated explosives on a civilian bus carrying over 30 staff members of Kaboora Production, which is a sister entity to TOLO TV, Lemar TV, Arman FM, Arakozia FM and TOLOnews.
Taking lives of media staff members and injuring many is an inhuman act and aimed to destroy independent media organizations, PPF said.
