KARACHI – Whereas, the Government of Sindh is satisfied that the newspaper Daily Islam Karachi dated May 12, 2004 published from Nazimabad-4, Karachi contains a matter which is deliberately and maliciously intended to outrage the religious feelings of a particular segment of the society, and likely to hurt the sentiments of the following of Ahle-Tasheeh Sect, according to notification issued by Home Department Sindh on May 29.

And, whereas, the above mentioned newspaper is liable to forfeiture for containing objectionable material u/s. 99-A Cr PC 1898.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 99-A of the code of Criminal Procedure 1898, the Government of Sindh has imposed ban upon further circulation of the above said newspaper Daily Islam Karachi in the Province of Sindh and declared that all copies of the same if found in circulation be forfeited for Government of Sindh with immediate effect.
