Musician passes away

MIRPURKHAS: Renowned Sindhi singer Arbab Solangi, who is popular with PPP activists for his rendering of a song related to Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, passed away in his village on Saturday.

Solangi had been ill for some time. His song, “Bhutto ja Dustman Aseen Golay, Golay Mareendaseen,” won appreciation Bhutto’s supporters. The deceased performed many songs in Sindhi. Arbab Solangi was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard in Khan town. He is survived by three sons, two daughters and his widow.
