Moot on Urdu press
KARACHI – The three, press and organizational, legal day national conference on Urdu and ethical issues, besides future Press – Problems and Prospects challenges to be faced by the would be held from May 24, under the auspices of the department of Mass Communication, University of Karachi.
The conference is spread over channels eight sessions to discuss various
contemporary issues of the Urdu press, including dailies and periodicals, present status of the press and organizational, legal and ethical issues, besides future challenges to be faced by the print and electronic media.
The conference is expected to deliberate upon the impact of existing and emerging satellite channels on newspaper industry, especially in rural areas.
The conference would be attended by prominent media people.
