Minor girl assaulted
THATTA, June 14 2006: A minor girl was sexually assaulted by a young man in the village of Gul Hassan Jakharo, 6 kilometers off here, on June 13. On the complaints of Humera’s father, the Thatta police registered a case under the Hudood Ordinance against one Rabadino Mirbahar and arrested him. Meanwhile, Head Muharrir of the jhok police station, Noor Mohammad, and one Najma were arrested on the charge of maintaining illicit relations here on June 13.
Report said the neighbours of Noor Muhammad came to know that a women was present in his quarter. They locked the quarter from outside and informed the TPO Maripur Bathoro, who raided the quarter and arrested Noor with Najma. The head Muharrir was suspended.
