Minister visits Nawa-i-Waqt office
KARACHI- Sindh Health Minister Ahsan Ahmed visited the advertisement office of daily Nawa-i-Waqt at Guru Mandir and examined the loss caused by bomb explosion.
Later, he went to Civil Hospital where victims of explosion are admitted and enquired about their recovery. He visited Orthopaedic Ward and enquired welfare of injured Mohammad Azam Khan, Jamil Ansari and Khuda Bux.
Medical Superintendent, Fateh Mohammad Khan, and Assistant MS, Kalim Butt, are instructed to provide all possible facilities to the patients. He also visited Burns Ward of the hospital where another victim, Sajid Mahmood, Computer Operator Nawa-i-Waqt was admitted in a critical condition.
He discussed patient’s condition with Prof Shaista Afandi, Incharge Burns Ward, and instructed her to take special care of the patient. He sympathised with father of Sajid Mahmood, who was present there and assured him of every possible help and medical facilitise.
