Man, woman shot dead for `honour`
OKARA: A man and a woman were shot dead in Sadda Singh village late on Tuesday night.
Accused Mubarak told the police that he killed his aunt Rehana and Afzaal because they had an extramarital affair.
Rehana got married to Safdar Hussain of Matta Singh village about 10 years ago and gave birth to her first child, a girl, with Hussain about four months ago.
It`s learnt that Mubarak and his brothers, nephews of Hussain who has gone disabled now, wanted to grab their uncle`s 15-acre land that`s why they killed their aunt. Saghir, Saqib and two unidentified men have also been linked with the double murder.
A case has been registered against Mubarak and his accomplices.
