Malik orders early recovery of kidnapped Czech women
QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Malik Baloch has directed the provincial administration and other authorities concerned to take all steps for the early and safe recovery of four foreign women abducted in March.
The women, belonging to Czech Republic, were traveling to Quetta by coach on March 13 when gunmen stopped them near Nohundi area of Chagai district and took them away.
Police and other agencies have failed to find a clue to the whereabouts of the women.A team of Czech officials met the chief minister here and urged him to step up efforts for early release of women.
Provincial Home Secretary Akbar Hussain Durrani informed the Czech delegation about the steps taken by the government to trace the kidnap victims.
Commissioner Quetta Usman Gul was also present at the meeting.
