Khyber Pakhtunkhwa govt’s ‘Right to Information’ act is a milestone
Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information, Kamran Bangash has said that the ‘Right to Information’ act of the provincial government is a milestone of providing basic human rights to the public.
This was stated by him in statement issued in connection with the International Day for Universal Access to Information observed on Tuesday.
Kamran Bangash said the right to access to information provides a basis for a corruption free and transparent society. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is the only government allowing access to information to the public, he added.
The Special Assistant to CM said the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa information commission is at top of the list with provision of one-hundred percent information to the general public.—INP
