KARACHI – The Ferozabad Police Tuesday arÂrested four suspected cyber criminals, who reportedly took data of graphic software on gunÂpoint from local advertising company on Nov 26 within the limits of Ferozabad Police Station.
Later Azam Khan the owner of advertising company registered an FIR No. 941/07 against the culprits in said police station. Azam in his statement stated that on Nov 26th he was sitting in his office, when four culprits came into office and held his staffers and security guard hostage.
They took all data which was saved in computers and after getting data they destroyed all computers of office and runaway. Later culprits phoned Azam and asked money against the data. Culprits called Azam at Kharader and then Malir to get the amount Rs.3, 00,000.
The accuses could not made the deal at both places because the police personnel in plain cloths cordon the area off which accuses have to knew. Police traced the persons and arrested them from Block-6, PECHS Society. Police also recovered the all data, weapons and two snatched vehicles from their possessions.
These criminals were also demanding ransom for returning the data. Police lodged an FIR
941/2007 against Mohammad Aneel, Mohammad Bilal, Noor Alam and Nasir Khan on complaint of Azam Khan.
