Journalists oppose defamation laws
HAFIZABAD- The District Anjuman Sahafian and Editors/Journalists Council Hafizabad have opposed the proposed Defamation Law being forwarded against the Press.
The President of the Anjuman, Rana Waheed and Council Chairman, Rana Mohammad Saeed, said that introduction of the proposed laws would be tantamount to an attack on the freedom of the Press. They demanded the withdrawal of proposed laws to relieve the journalists of the sense of insecurity.
