Installation of TV boosters in Fata ordered
PESHAWAR – NWFP Governor Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah on April 19 ordered the completion of the installation of television boosters in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) at the earliest and stressed the need for bringing entire NWFP and Fata in the reach of PTV telecast.
Speaking at a briefing on the performance of the PTV network, he said a TV booster should be installed at Wana.
Peshawar PTV General Manager Farmanullah Jan told the governor that work on the installation of a TV booster in the Bajaur Agency was in progress and proposals for similar projects in the Mohmand and Orakzai agencies had been sent to the authorities.
