FM 101 plans programmes for I-Day
LAHORE, August 12 2005: FM 101 has planned a variety of programmes for the youth to celebrate Independence Day on August 14.
FM 101 in-charge and Deputy Controller Gulzar Usmani said on Thursday August 11 that the radio would broadcast the flag-hoisting ceremony from Islamabad and interviews of Pervez Mehdi, Begum Masood Sadiq and Irfan. He said the winners of the Pakistan Movement’s sketch and landscape competition would also be announced the same day. The programmes would include reports regarding Independence Day celebrations in various cities, he added.
