FIR of murdered journalist not lodged yet
MIRPURKHAS – Three days passed the FIR of deceased journalist Zubair Ahmed Mujahid has not been registered due to negligence his relatives.
Reportedly, unknown assailants killed senior journalist Zubair Ahmed Mujahid. In satellite Town when he was going to house on the bike along with his colleague on Friday night.
DIG Mirpurkhas Mazhar Shaikh had been formed four investigation police teams to trace the culprits of this murder when contacted Supervising police officer SPO Satellite town. Atta Mohammad Nizamani said that he had been contacted various times with relatives of murdered journalist and eye witness Wahid Pahelwani but no any person has yet reached at Satellite town police station to lodge the FIR of this incident.
He expressed his anger and said that journalists were protesting on this murder while Arain community people were also protesting on the failure of police to nab the culprits but no relative or any person was ready to register the murder case.
He said that police investigaÂtions were continued to arrest the culprits.
CONDOLENCE MEETINGS
Condolence meetings of press Mirpurkhas club and National press club Mirpurkhas were separately held here on Saturday.
Meetings strongly condemned the murder of senior journalist Zubair Ahmed Mujahid and demanded the authorities to ensure immediate arresting of the involved culprits and punish them exemplary.
Meetings paid rich tribute to slain journalist and demanded the government to make financial help of his family.
Gathering also condoled with bereaved family. Fateha Khawani was held while special prayers were also offered for his departed soul. Besides, according to press releases issued here on Sunday that Quran khawani and condolence meetings were also held for slain joumalist at various places of the city.
