Family of slain journalist yet to get justice
SUKKUR: The family of slain journalist Ajay Lalwani is still awaiting justice as his killers have yet to be taken to task. On the occasion of his first death anniversary, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Senator Saifullah Abro alleged that the accused belonging to PPP had not been arrested, adding that the family members of the slain journalist were being coerced to withdraw the murder case.
Speaking on the occasion, PFUJ Sindh Chapter President Saeed Jan Baloch said, “We are standing by with the family of Ajay Lalwani from day one and will continue protest for the rights of the journalists,” adding Lalawani was killed for reporting the truth. GM Jamali said Ajay Lalwani, was killed allegedly by former chairman and vice-chairman of union council Salehpat.
