Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE) forms body to investigate Frontier Post issue
LAHORE- The president, Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE), has constituted a fact-finding commission to probe into the publication of a blasphemous letter in The Frontier Post in its January 29 issue, says a press release.
The commission comprising leading editors of the country is headed by CPNE president Arif Nizami and include M.A. Zuberi, Editor Business Recorder, Saleem Asmi, Editor Dawn, Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman, Editor-in-Chief Jang Group of Newspapers, Altaf Hassan Qureshi, Editor Urdu Digest, Hamid Mir, Editor Ausaf, Ilyas Shakir, Editor Qaumi Akhbar and secretary-general CPNE, Anwar Farooqi, vice-president CPNE and Sharif Farooqi, Editor Jihad.
