Cops told not to allow sale of “Gutka”
Wasim Akhtar issued the warning following receipt of reports about preparation and sale of “gutka” in various parts of the Province and :Karachi despite his clear directives against this re issued the directive against police officials in this regard.
Advisor Home said “Gutka” is a poison which is devouring our younger generation and men,women and children are fast becoming victims of this menace. He said action against preparation and sale of “Gutka” has become imperative to save the youth from mouth cancer and disablement.
He told various delegations that orders have been issued to police for closure of all Gutka producing factories in the province.
Wasim Akhtar said such directives have also been communicated to IG Sindh, CCPO and DIG Operation Karachi in this regard.
He appealed to the younger generation to immediately give up use of gutka and other items of addiction. Once they will give it up, their sellers will automatically disappear, he added.
