Classes begin at Hashmi Media Institute

Mass Communication classes commenced in Hashmi Media Institute on March 12, 2012.

The institute has been named after the advertising legend (late) Syed Haseen Hashmi and aims to provide quality media education to scholars, professionals and students.

Before the classes commenced, there was an inauguration ceremony which was attended by the Chairman of the Institute, Syed Mehmood Hashmi, Board of Governors Syed Arsalan Hashmi, along with the management of Institute Wajiha Raza Rizvi and other faculty members; Saman Qureshi, Farooq Ali Baloch and Mohamamd Zeeshan.

Students were also present at the ceremony.

Hashmi Media Institute, a subsidiary of Hashmi Media Welfare Trust, is located on the second floor of Orient Advertising (pvt) Ltd at 195-A, SMCHS, Karachi.

The Institute is providing specializations in the fields of Print Media, Radio and Television Programme Production & News Reporting as well as Advertising & PR.

The extremely excited members of the institute are in collaboration with the well reputed British Institute MOU.

The planning between these two organisations is to provide the short-term and long-term higher Degree, Diploma and Certificate Programmes to student, scholars and professionals.

The teachers at the institute are highly qualified with the national and international educational institute such as; New York University, University of Nebraska, University of London, University of Karachi and others.

Hashmi Media Institute is highly equipped to provide Journalism (Print and Online) TV Documentary, Radio Script Writing (TV, Film, Radio) and Film making.

On the occasion Syed Mehmood Hashmi and his son Syed Arsalan Hashmi along with other people expressed their best wishes towards the institute.

The Hashmi Media Institute is affiliated with the University of Karachi which is highly equipped to providing latest Media Education.
