All channels should be shown on their original numbers: minister
ISLAMABAD: The Cable Operators Association has assured Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid that broadcast of all TV channels would be shown without any interruption.
A delegation of Cable Operators Association, headed by Syed Gufran Mujtaba, met the information minister. Federal Information Secretary Muhammad Azam, Cable Operators Association President Capt (retd) Jabbar Khan and other representatives also attended the meeting.
The federal minister instructed the authorities concerned to early resolve the problems of cable operators. He also said that all TV channels should be shown on the same number on which it was running earlier.
Senator Pervaiz Rashid assured the delegation of writing a letter to the provinces on the problems cable operators were facing. The cable operators also assured the federal minister that Pemra rules would be followed and all channels would be shown without any interruption.
