Channel owner ridicules Imran for ending Dharna
ISLAMABAD: The owner of a TV channel which had been portraying itself as the biggest supporter of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) could not conceal his real agenda by ridiculing PTI chief Imran Khan for his decision to end the sit-in at D-Chowk Islamabad.
The owner who is notorious for defaming others by using the name of Allah and Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) and later submitting a public apology to the Supreme Court of Pakistan when asked to present proofs of his baseless allegations, immediately tweeted against PTI a minute after Imran Khan announced his decision to end Dharna in the greater national interest in the wake of Peshawar tragedy.
“Hahahahaha what a leader Imran Khan you gave up so soon!!! sab tamasha tha aur Ham sab baywakoof (It was all a drama and we all were fools)” he tweeted.Not only that the media owner also retweeted several people who were criticising the PTI move.
But a few minute later, the owner deleted the post when the PTI supporters on twitter reacted angrily.However, many users of social website saved his earlier tweet and spread the screenshots of the same on Twitter to the utter embarrassment of the channel owner.Many PTI supporters expressed shock over the tweet, saying the channel was more interested in its revenue than the greater national cause of unity against terrorism.
