CBA Scholarships
CBA OFFERING SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDY JOURNALISM IN THE U.K.
Journalists and other media professionals working for members of the Commonwealth Broadcast Association (CBA) can now apply for one-year scholarships to study towards a master’s degree in the United Kingdom during the 2005-2006 academic year.
Two scholarships are available:
The first, for an master’s in international journalism at City University in London and the second, for an master’s in a broadcast-related subject at Westminster University. The application deadline for both scholarships is January 31, 2005.
Only journalists in developing Commonwealth countries are eligible to apply. No applications from Australia, Brunei, Canada, Cyprus, Gibraltar, Malaysia, Malta, Mew Zeeland, Singapore or the United Kingdom will be accepted.
Applications forms, available at http://www.cba.org.uk/mabursar.htm should be typed or word processed. Six copies should be sent to:
Commonwealth Broadcasting Association, 17 Fleet Street, London EC4Y 1AA, UK.
The CBA is an organization of public service broadcasters in more than 50 countries, including: Bangladesh, India, the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Australia, Brunei, Fiji, Kiribati, Malaysia, Nauru, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Singapore, the Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.
