Can media afford to interview Gullu Butt?
LAHORE: The infamous character of Model Town massacre – Gullu Butt – who has become a household name in Pakistan is now trying to seek monetary reward from his instant fame (read it as disgrace).
Our correspondent said that Gullu Butt is now demanding a whopping half-a-million-rupee fee for one television interview.
Gullu Butt is also demanding royalty from companies/firms which have launched android games under his name. These games became very popular in the country.
Butt’s first name Gullu almost became a synonym for notoriety and hooliganism in Pakistan after the Model Town massacre in June this year in which 14 people died.
He was arrested by the police under severe public pressure but was recently released on bail.
