Cable operators stop airing Indian channels

KARACHI- In view of negative propaganda unleashed by the Indian news channels against Pakistan, the cable operators have decided to stop airing them throughout the country.

This was announced by the office-bearers of All Pakistan Cable Operators’ Association at a news conference at Karachi Press Club.

They identified the Indian channels as Zee News, Star News, Star Plus, Jain TV and Doordarshan. The general secretary of the APCOA, Tahir Ali Khan, appealed to the APCOA members to stop showing these channels forthwith

He said a majority of the people in the country had pointed towards the propaganda unleashed by Indian news channels against Pakistan with the aim to get Pakistan declared a ‘terrorist state.’
