Boy shot dead
KHAIRPUR: A 12-year-old boy, Amir Ali Sandelo, was shot dead in the Ahmedpur police limits on Thursday. The police, on a complaint of Irfan Ali Sandelo, registered a case against the unknown killers.
The complainant stated in the FIR that two unidentified armed men knocked his door and when he opened it they fired upon his teenage cousin, killing him on the spot and fled. Meanwhile, a woman escaped a murder attempt in the court premises here. Behishta, wife of Muhammad Sharif Mangrio, appeared before the Family Court and appealed to the judge to grant her the right of separation from her husband. However, her husband, who was also present in the court, allegedly attempted to kill her as she came out of the judge’s chamber. She escaped unhurt, police said.
