Attack on newspaper deplored
KARACHI – MNA Fauzia Wahab, central coordinator for the Human Rights Cell of the Pakistan People’s Party, in a statement urged the government to take action against those involved in September 13, ransacking of the Ghotki office of a daily Kawish, and its sister concern, the channel, KTN.
The bureau chief of the newspaper, Allah Warrayo Bozdar, and his assistant Nasir Hussain, a computer operator, were reportedly attacked in the incident.
Ms. Wahab alleged that officials of the local police were present whent he newspaper office was attacked.
