Arts Council of Pakistan to hold appreciation event today
KARACHI: Arts Council of Pakistan (ACP), Karachi will organise an appreciation event on Tuesday (today) for a writing composition titled ‘Para Para (Parveen Shakir)’ by renowned writer Nusrat Zehra, said a statement on Monday.
According to the statement, noted poet Himayat Ali would preside over the event. Prof Sehar Ansari, Mehtab Akbar Rashidi, Prof Shahid Hassan, Shabihya Haider and Nusrat Zehra would also express their views. Moreover, ACP Karachi and stage show committee would also organise different interesting activities, including puppet shows, magical shows and others for special children. Gifts will also be distributed among kids. Regional Tax Office Chief Commissioner Muhammad Anwar Goraya and Deputy Chief Commissioner Muhammad Ali will be chief guests at the event.
