Appointment of 15 high court judges confirmed
ISLAMABAD: On the advice of the prime minister, President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday approved the confirmation of 15 additional judges of Lahore High Court and four of Balochistan High Court.
The judges who have been confirmed as additional judges of the LHC are Justice Nasir Saeed Sheikh, Justice S. Najamul Hassan, Justice Manzoor Ahmad Malik, Justice Sardar Tariq Masood, Justice Ijazul Ahsan, Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah, Justice Sheikh Ahmed Farooq, Justice Chaudhry Shahid Saeed, Justice Rauf Ahmad Sheikh, Justice Ijaz Ahmad, Justice Mohammad Khalid Mahmood Khan, Justice Shahid Hameed Dar, Justice Mohammad Anwarul Haq, Justice Sardar Muhammad Shamim Khan and Justice Mazhar Iqbal Sindhu.
The four judges confirmed as additional judges of the BHC are Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhel, Justice Tahira Safdar, Justice Muhammad Noor Meskanzai and Justice Ghulam Mustafa Mengal.
