Appeals in Peale case to be heard on Aug 13
The three appeals, including two filed by Ornar Shaikh, co-accused and the state in Daniel Pearl kidnapping and niurder case, were fixed for hearÂing,on August 13 by the High Cmn of Sindb on Saturday.
Abdul Waheed Katpar advoÂcate, counsel for Omar Shaikh, sentenced to death in the above case, told reporters on Saturday that appeals were fixed for August 8 but as he has to appeal before the Lahore High Court,an that date, he requeste the court to fix the appeals on next date.
He said that his request has been allowed and now appeals will be heard by tn AntiÂTerrorism Appellate (ATA) bench@ of SHC on August 13.-APP
