A tribute to Dawn
GROWING up, I used to see the newspaperman throw a copy of Dawn in our front yard daily. I used to be informed by my elders at that time that it was probably the only newspaper in Pakistan that was reliable, accurate and just.
Now I have seen for myself that Dawn after all these years has stood its ground in delivering the news as it is and raising its voice when there is a need to do so. You let voices like mine, as an Ahmadi, be heard.
Your coverage of the recent horrific attacks was heartbreaking, but it also told us that somebody cares to let everyone know the atrocities we in the Ahmadiya community are facing. And, I will not fail to say that we seek justice from the Almighty, the All-Powerful and the Just. However, I applaud Dawn.
A standing ovation to Dawn!
