LAHORE: Virtual University Television Network has become the first Pakistani educational television channel to be linked up to the country’s first communications satellite PAKSAT-1.
Managing Director VUTV Tajdar Alam said in a statement here on Friday that the results are of high transmission qualit6y and we are now ready for our test transmission and will soon start educational programming. The up-link and down link connection to the satellite for VUTV upcoming broadcast services in the educational sector were carried out successfully.
Virtual university rector Dr. Naveed Malik said that VU will now broadcast all of its courses all over Pakistan as well as overseas.
