Ufone in Karachi by August
KARACHI- Federal Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Atta-ur-Rehman said that the Ufone mobile telephone service introduced by the Pakistan telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) last month in Islamabad will be available in Karachi by August and in Lahore by June or July.
The minister said Ufone service was gaining popularity day by day in Islamabad, and over 6,000 have subscribed to the services. He said that response in this regard was very encouraging, as the subscription of Ufone has been double of expectations.
