Tribute paid to Zafar Kazmi
HYDERABAD: Renowned writers, poets and connoisseurs of art paid rich tribute to legendary artist and poet Zafar Kazmi on the occasion of his fourth death anniversary held at the Sindh Museum on Wednesday.
Sindh Minister for Culture Sassui Palijo said that urged younger generation of artists to emulate Kazmi.
She said that Kazmi was appointed founder director of the Sindh Museum Hyderabad in recognition of his services.
The credit went to him for the establishment of a folk craft museum in Sehwan and Laar Museum in Badin.
Kazmi`s name had been recommended posthumously for pride of performance award which would be announced officially on March 23, she said.
