Tribute paid to Mehdi Hussain
PESHAWAR, June 6: A condolence reference was held for Provincial Director of Information Seyed Mehdi Hussain at the Media Centre on Wednesday.
Presided over by NWFP Information Secretary Mohammad Afzal Khan, all staff members attended the reference.
Mr Hussain was shot dead by unknown men on Tuesday near his home in Hashtnagri locality of the city. Participants of the reference paid glowing tribute to Mr Hussain and eulogised his services for the department.
They offered fateha for the departed soul and prayed to Allah almighty to grant courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss.
They demanded of the government to announce a special package for Seyed Mehdi Hussain as it had announced for other high-ranking provincial government officers assassinated in different incidents in the recent past.
